iPaxera is a PACS viewing application tailored for seamless study navigation and visualization of DICOM images on iOS devices. It pioneers the direct addition of studies from various sources to your iPad via local synchronization through iTunes, akin to managing media files—without the need for a Wi-Fi or 4G connection. Noteworthy is iPaxera's integration with PaxeraView, the Diagnostic Viewing Workstation developed by Paxeramed.

With iPaxera, users can conveniently generate reports using the embedded tool, offering options to email them or save alongside the study. Moreover, the application supports DICOM Cine (Multi Frame) for enhanced study interpretation—particularly beneficial for Cardiac Cath and Echo studies.

iPaxera stores studies locally, presenting an interactive worklist with customizable search criteria and detailed study information. It provides essential processing tools like WW/WL presets, distance measurement, panning, and zooming, facilitating efficient study analysis and management.

System requirements dictate compatibility with iPad running iOS 7.0 or later. It is important to note that iPaxera currently lacks FDA’s 510(K) clearance; hence, its usage is advised only for non-significant risk studies until regulatory approval is obtained.
